We are now looking for engaged and skilled drivers for our terminal in Trondheim, Hommelvik.
Tasks and areas of responsibility:
- You will be our foremost ambassador to our customers
- The first and the last link in our network
- Carry out the driving route in the most considerate manner related to the environment and consideration of other road users
- Daily safety checks on your own vehicle before departure from the terminal
- Always have a clean and neat car at work
- Participate in some goods sorting and loading of own car, as well as other distribution cars if necessary
- Ensure that all goods that are loaded on the car are correctly scanned, and ensure that all shipments are scanned at the correct time on the route
- At all times follow the delivery instructions that are given or that are entered digitally on the scanner
- Carry out an ID check of the receiver of the sender before handing them over
- Carry out Security check, control of shipment documentation and correct scanning when picking up the shipment
- Complete all courses and training programs related to the position
- Give feedback to the management on areas of improvement, both around quality, productivity, and potential sales leads
- Participate in other incidental terminal work to support the department's overall goals
Characteristics and qualifications:
- You are energetic and committed
- Has a positive and open mindset
- Class B certificate
- Immaculate character (background check will be carried out prior to employment)
- Master Norwegian and/or English, both written and spoken
- Conscious of responsibility, accurate and structured in carrying out own work
- A very good team player, but also possess a good ability to work independently
- Handle high work pressure and a hectic work environment
- Stand by extra when needed, especially when it's high season, and support your colleagues with a "Can Do Attitude"
