POSITION SUMMARY:*

The Scheduler is responsible to answer phones, schedule appointments and perform administrative duties in an anesthesia office. Will be expected to perform quality assurance, recruiting or office administrative duties depending on region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for answering, screening, and directing calls on a multi-line phone system in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsible for retrieving messages throughout the day and forwarding messages to appropriate staff.

Schedules cases with admins ofifices and or facilities in a multi-provider office.

Performs clerical duties for admins office and corporate office when need.

Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility at NPH

Provide a high level of customer service

Create and maintains daily/monthly call, meeting and vacation schedules and distribute accordingly.

Enter schedules into database and distribute (fax, email, and mail) to appropriate staff, office and/or appropriate personnel.

Upload and update website with scheduling information daily

Run and/or create various reports for management.

Educate new clients on scheduling protocols and guidelines

Interfaces with site scheduling administrators to ensure coverage needs are met

Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone's responsibility. It is the responsibility of every computer user to: Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures. Attend Information Systems security training, when offered. Report information systems security problems.

Knowledge and Skills:*

Demonstrated ability to be courteous and respectful when interacting with patients and family members

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, and the general public

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Must have a high level of energy with the ability to adjust to any justifiable pace.

Make decisions based more on fact than feeling

Proven ability to develop strong relationships with professionals and clients through phone or other informal channels.

Strong computer skills including MS Office, Access and Windows applications.
