Job Description
The Momentum Broadcasting General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the radio station operations including generating revenue, programming, promotions, engineering, and business for radio stations including FCC public file reporting. We oerate our stations in the beautiful San Joaquin Valley, in the 109th market in the country. The General Manager reports directly to the owner of the company.
This position requires a take charge hands on individual with broad range knowledge of the broadcast industry.
Responsibilities
Ensure that the radio stations are in compliance with all FCC regulations
Manage direct reports in programming, sales, and business.
Oversee programming, ensuring it reflects the highest possible standards for quality and ensuring that it is delivered through all applicable channels in a seamless manner for the benefit of the community.
Represent the organization in the most positive and ethical manner possible to all constituents, including advertisers, listeners, government organizations.
Plan and oversee both long range and short range strategic objectives, which include managing all revenue and expense related items including staff, marketing, and engineering.
