Our school is currently seeking an experienced ESL and Subjects Teacher to join our team in Datong District, Taipei. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching and be dedicated to helping students develop their English language skills, social studies, basic math, and science knowledge
Location: Datong District, Taipei
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:45 PM to 6:30 PM
Salary: $700 per hour
Benefits: Work permit and ARC provided, insurance provided
Classroom Age: 4-13
Classroom Size: 12-16
Subjects: English, Social Studies, Basic Math and Science
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare engaging and interactive lessons that are aligned with the curriculum and the needs of the students.
- Co-teach with a Taiwanese teacher to ensure that the students receive quality education in all subjects.
- Keep track of students' progress and provide feedback to parents and school administration.
- Assist students in competitions and extracurricular activities, such as speech contests and science fairs.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker or fluent in English with a neutral accent
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting
- Experience in teaching English, Social Studies, Math and Science to young learners
- Passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on students' lives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
