The Clinical Informatics Nurse is responsible for supporting clinical areas and applications and serving as the liaison between clinical departments, Information Services, and physicians.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysis, design, testing, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of integrated clinical a! pplications
- Development and management of project work-plans and budgets
- A lead role on interdisciplinary project teams
- Collaborative work with IS and Clinical Departments to support business needs, workflow analysis, and implementation of systems (EHR - Sunrise Clinical Manager, Sunrise Patient Flow, and Kronos)
- Working with clinicians to identify patient care workflow requirements that ensure the system design and configuration meet end user requirements
- Optimization of inter-departmental workflow for nursing and clinicians to support changes associated with system implementation
- Ensures privacy and security access
- Participation in the development of end-user curriculum, training plans and tools
- Conducting and support! ing end-user training
- Taking part in testing/on-site ! support for system activations and upgrades involving 24x7 coverage

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of Clinical experience as Clinical Analyst REQUIRED
- Expertise with clinical systems, implementations, design, upgrades and maintenance
- Experience with project team leadership, work plans, and ability to work independently
- Strong systems, problem resolution, analytical skills, and creative thinking skills
- Demonstrated service excellence, and excellent communication skills
- Proven Leadership skills, prior leadership experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Highly effective time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Bachelorâs degree REQUIRED
