Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) wanted for a unique outpatient position that involves a combination of several specialties: Non-Invasive Cardiology, Preventative Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, and some Urgent Care. The practice is located near New Haven, Connecticut, is considering both newer graduate NP's in addition to more experienced clinicians, and is available immediately.!
The Nurse Practitioner will perform physicial examin! ations, interpret labs, identify patients at risk for cardiac events, prescribe medication, and may recommend/establish a treatment plan including diet/exercise or further medical evaluations either on-site or off-site with a cardiologist. The goal will be to significantly lower and minimize risk of cardiac events in the practice patient population.
In certain cases, some patients will also present with urgent care needs and the Nurse Practitioner should be able to work autonomously to address the needs of these patients.
Hours for this position are 36-40/week and the practice is very willing to allow the NP to work 4 days. Very competitive 1st year potential salary compensation (100K+), Medical Benefits, PTO, and CME reimbursement + 5 days off are all included. The NP will be supported by a full clinical and administrative staff.
