Description: Waterbury Hospital Health Center is at the momment seeking for Psychiatrist - Crisis Center right now, this position will be placed in Connecticut. Psychiatrist Department: Crisis Center Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Rotating Hours: 8:30-5 Hours Per Pay Period: 0-8 Job Details: The Psychiatrist will take! an active and collaborative role in the overall direction and supervision of medical activities and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: medication management, patient evaluation and other direct patient-care activities. Also the Psychiatrist is also responsible for taking an active and collaborative role in utilization review, strategic planning, supervision of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, accreditation readiness, public relations and quality improvement. Reports to the Medical Director of the department.
Requirements: M.D. license, licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut, Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry, Active member of the medical staff of Waterbury Hospital
