Medical Oncology
MidState Medical Center
The RN Clinical Coordinator functions as the case manager, assessing, directing and evaluating the nursing care provided to patients. You are responsible for the coordination of depar! tmental activities related to patients in the outpatient medical oncology dept. Administer chemotherapy, collect results of diagnostic studies and participate in team conferences, maintaining knowledge of best practices in oncology nursing.
Qualifications: Current CT RN license and Bachelor s degree required. Two years acute care experience, 1-2 years oncology experience required, chemotherapy certification and previous office practice nursing experience preferred. Excellent customer service and keyboard skills and the ability to oversee the work of identified clinical staff. This is a full time, 40 hour position Monday Friday.
