The Registered Nurse functioning within the Pati! ent Centered Care Model will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a group of patients, collaborate with health care professionals, coordinate ancillary staff and demonstrate professional growth and development. Able to provide appropriate care for patients served according to the unit's scope of practice. You will have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative unit where the whole hospital works together to achieve high through put levels. Our ED offers a dedicated behavioral health and chest pain unit as well as a CT/Rad Suite. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, BSN). BSN preferred. CT licensed or CT license eligible requ! ired. EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of experience in Emergency Medicine required with ACLS, PALS, Electronic Nursing documentation skills and the ability to multi-task. Pediatrics experience required. HOURS: (3) 12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend and occasional holidays.
