Job Requirements:
Must be a Connecticut registered Pharmacy Technician
Must also hold certification from th! e PTCB
Superb customer service skills required for interviewing patients/families
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Computer entry of medication lists
Interact with patients and Emergency Dept. staff
Telephone research with physician offices and local pharmacies
Medication delivery to nursing areas and Pyxis replenishment
2nd shift, 12:30PM to 9:00 PM
EVERY OTHER WEEKEND

Job Detail
Bristol Hospital currently has positions open for a Pharmacy Technician/Medication Reconciliation Technician. The ideal candidate will perform medication histories through patient/family interviews and utilize available on-line resources and document the medication list per hospital defined protocol. The process will involve:
1.Interviewing of patient or family member/verification and collection of medication history
2! .Clarification and ensuring that medications and doses are acc! urate
3.Accurate documentation of steps 1 and 2
Part-time positions available to cover 2nd shift, 2PM to 10:30PM
