The Nurse Manager - ED is responsible for:
Mentoring and developing staff
Interfacing with other departments to assure patient throughput
Collaborating with the professional development department to assess and identify the learning needs of the staff
Utilizing both clinical and leadership skills to identify opportunities for performance improvement
Participating in the selection, evaluation, and coaching of unit employees
Required Skills
5+ years of experience
Recent ED experience in level 1 or 2 hospital
BSN
RN license
Experience in budgeting, emergency room, trauma, and management
