The RN organizes and administers individualized, professional patient care to patients on the Medical/Surgical floor. The RN also provides nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital and the state Nurse Practice Act. As well, the RN maintains the standards of nursing care as established and participates in patient teaching, discharge planning, and quality improvement activities.
Educational Requirements:
Graduate of accredited RN program Current CT licensure as an RN
Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent Graduate of accredited RN program Current CT licensure as RN
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous RN experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
Hours:
Work 36 hrs/wk, nights from 7:00 p - 7:30 a, including every other weekend and rotating holidays
