Certified Nuring Assistant Training Program
(Free for Qualified Candidates)
The trainin! g program for qualified candidates will teach the essential duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant and will demonstrate how to interact with Residents, assess Resident needs, and how to monitor and observe the overall condition of Residents.
This program is fully sponsored by the Home and pays all expenses including tuition, required materials and books. This is an 8-week course that will feature 7 weeks of combined classroom and clinical education and 1 week of review. Classes will begin on October 28, 2013 and end on December 20, 2013. Classes will start at 4:00 p.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. Classes will be held in the education suite at Jewish Senior Services.
Interested candidates will be required to pass a written skill assessment and should submit the following to Employee Relations by Thursday, October 10, 2013 by 3:00 p.m. in person:

- 2 letters of recommendation from non-related personal references
- Completed Jewish Home Employment application (must be completed on line at www.jseniors.org), go to careers tab then job employment tab. You will also need to complete an assessment in person before being selected for an interview.
- Interviews to select qualified candidates will take place during the week of October 14th.
