The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System-Behavioral Health Department is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist II for their Riverside location.
Work Schedule: Will be discussed during the interview. Tentative: 5/40 (alternating weekends and holidays)

The incumbents will be responsible for, but not limited to; provide support to the medical staff of the Arlington Campus by capturing accurate and detailed documentation of provider/patient encounter via handwritten notes, electronic or otherwise, enter information in the electronic health record, assist in preparing patient charts for providers and in completing other patient related forms.
Candidates with over one year of work nexperience in inpatient medical environment providing scribing support to medical staff are encouraged to apply.
Under general supervision, to transcribe a wide variety of medical reports and records from dictating equipment; to perform a variety of moderately difficult medical records office work; and to perform other work as required.
This is the fully qualified journey level class in the Medical Transcriptionist series and reports to a Supervising Medical Transcriptionist. Job duties assigned require high-volume, accurate transcription of medical records. Incumbents may be required to transcribe medical forms and reports and maintain office files. This class is distinguished from the Medical Transcriptionist I by the high volume of work, greater independence and less supervisory review.
