Description: fulltimeGiGS is currently interviewing Clinical Nurse Manager, OB and Neonatal right now, this position will be placed in Connecticut. For complete informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Responsible for the 12-bed LDRP unit, well-baby nursery and 6-bed level II nursery. Allocates available resources to promote efficient, effe! ctive and compassionate patient care. Provides clinical and administrative leadership and expertise. Facilitates an atmosphere of participative management and the development of collegial relationships. Visible, accessible and committed to communicating effectively with staff. Promotes the profession of nursing and professional practice. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Reports to the Director of Women's, Infant and Emergency Services.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in such program and graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Must have and maintain a current license in the State of Connecticut. Professional Certification is highly desirable. Must have at least three (3) years of nursing experience in obstetrical/neonatal nursing with demonstrated leadership potential. Maintains clinical and managerial competency required for area of assignment including Basic Cardiac Life Support. Must be! able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and ! in writing and possess basic computer skills.
