Our client has an exciting opportunity in their CT Health Services group for an on-site Nurse Practitioner.

Description:

Administer clinical care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment (including prescribing medications when appropriate) and referral of employees.

Provide health counseling and education to maximize health outcomes.

Collaborate on multidisciplinary team.

Mentor staff nurses and medical assistants.

Assist in the development of clinical policies and procedures and standing orders under guidance of Manager/Corporate Medical Advisor.

Provide service to customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Design, implement and facilitate health and wellness projects such as health screenings, clinics, educational programs, disease management and research.

Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Participate on cross functional teams relating to employee safety, health, wellness and benefits.

Qualifications:

• Licensed in the State of Connecticut as an APRN
• ! Prescriptive Authority
• 5+ years as an RN in adult med! icine; 2+ years as an APRN
• MSN
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate
• Experience in Corporate Health
• Experience with online record keeping
