Our client has an exciting opportunity in their CT Health Services group for an on-site Nurse Practitioner.
Descripti! on:
- Administer clinical care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment (including prescribing medications when appropriate) and referral of employees.
- Provide health counseling and education to maximize health outcomes.
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary team.
- Mentor staff nurses and medical assistants.
- Assist in the development of clinical policies and procedures and standing orders under guidance of Manager/Corporate Medical Advisor.
- Provide service to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Design, implement and facilitate health and wellness projects such as health screenings, clinics, educational programs, disease management and research.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Participate on cross functional teams relating to employee safety, health, wellness and benefits.
- Licensed in the State of Connecticut as an ! APRN
- Prescriptive Authority
- 5+ years as an R! N in adult medicine; 2+ years as an APRN
- MSN
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Experience in Corporate Health
- Experience with online record keeping
