You have five (5) or more years exper! ience as an RN in adult medicine and two (2) or more years of APRN MSN experience. You have experience in a corporate health setting. If the above describes you, we would very much like to get to know you. We seek candidates for with experience as a Nurse Practitioner in corporate health for a 7:30 am â€" 4:00 pm role in the company’s Windsor, CT Health Services group. In this role you will administer clinical care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment (including prescribing medications when appropriate) and referral of employees. You will provide health counseling and education to maximize health outcomes. You will collaborate on a multidisciplinary team! . You will mentor staff nurses and medical assistants. You wil! l assist in the development of clinical policies and procedures and standing orders under guidance of Manager/Corporate Medical Advisor. You design, implement and facilitate health and wellness projects such as health screenings, clinics, educational programs, disease management and research.
Candidates must have a Masters degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Connecticut. Must have Prescriptive Authority. Must have five (5) or more years experience as an RN in adult medicine and two (2) or more years of APRN MSN. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be computer literate. Very strong preference given to candidates who have experience in Corporate Health. Must have experience with online record keeping.
