Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Torrington Connecticut
Description: Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is in need of Registered Nurse - ICU right now, this occupation will be placed in Connecticut. Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies a! nd procedures.
Must have the ability to be flexible with hours and to work under pressure. Good judgment and problem solving skills. Must be customer service oriented. Highly discrete, able to routinely handle confidential materials. Able to manage multiple priorities and assignments.
Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency in critical care nursing, knowledge and skills. Minimum 2 years of ICU or Emergency department or Medical/Surgical experience or equivalent.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current registration in state or eligibility to do so. CPR and ACLS certification required.
