The Clinical Operations Director provides overall direction and leadership for the Cardiology, Intermediate Care, ICU, and C! ath Lab on a 24 hour basis. The COD ensures the effective administrative management of clinical functions related to personnel and policy. These functions relate directly to meeting quality patient care outcomes, providing education and participating in research while maintaining fiscal responsibility. The position is responsible for program operations that span not only clinical areas but also interface with multiple departments within the organization.
Required Skills
Required Experience
BSN required, MSN preferred.
Current CT licensure.
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting to include at least 3 years of increasing nursing responsibility and leadership.
ANCC Nursing Executive Certification or other ANCC recognized Administration Certification preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire.
Effective oral and written communication skills are required.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to positively motivate others.
Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
