This position, efficiently and effectively manages all day to day operations of Radiology to facilitate effective diagnosis and treatment of disease in an en! vironment that is home to world-class medical technology, Magnet nurses and some of Connecticut’s highest quality and patient satisfaction. The Assistant Director is responsible for leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental philosophy and goals. Provides direction and guidance of daily department operations for all imaging sites/modalities to ensure the delivery of quality and safe care by monitoring patient access, staffing levels, and monitoring performance improvement, safety, quality and regulatory. The Assistant Director supports the mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives of the hospital and demonstrates a commitment of quality service to our patients and their families, the community, the physicians and our Associates.
Requirements: Masters in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. ARRT certification and eligible for CT license. Five to seven years of previous management experience. Thorough k! nowledge and familiarity with all major aspects of the operati! ons of Radiology Department. CRA a plus! Strong interpersonal, planning, negotiating and organizing skills. Ability to manage departmental operations, finances, safety, risk and quality needs. Maintain effective relationships with the radiologists.
