Full-Time 40 hours with the flexibil! ity to work all shifts
Responsible for supporting the philosophy, purpose and objectives governing the Nursing Department at Hartford Hospital. Ensures the administrative, educational and clinical link on off-shift and weekends. Facilitates the effective utilization of resources (people, financial and material) by providing feedback to appropriate individuals on off-shift issues, and understanding how the function links to Hartford Hospital's core strategies and translating that linkage into operational priorities. Bachelors Degree required, Registered Nurse with a valid CT license required. Previous experience in managing and developing people and programs, experience required. MSN Preferred or Completion within 5 years. Strong communication and negotiating skills also required, both written and verbal. CPR and ACLS certification required (or must be achieved within 6 months).
