The Registered Nurse functioning within the Patient Centered Care Model will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a group of patients, collaborate with health care professionals, coordinate ancillary staff and demonstrate professional growth and development. Able to provide appropriate care for patients served according to the unit's scope of practice.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, BS, BSN). CT licensed or CT license eligible.
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of Med-Surg experience.
REQUIREMENTS: The person will be responsible for pre-admission screening, calling patient’s pre-operatively and obtaining their history, providing education and chart review for pre-operatively paperwork.
HOURS: Mon-Fri, flexible schedule between the hours of 6am and 8pm.
