Supervisor of Assisted Living Services
(NorthEast Connecticut)
Position is responsible for supervising the staff providing care and services and providing care and services to residents in the assisted living, assuring that quality clinical care is provided to residents through on-going assessment and care planning for each resident, and setting goals and objectives for the assisted living. Responsibilities include continued competency evaluation of staff, and maintaining policies and procedures that meet objectives, goals and standards of care. The supervisor must be knowledgeable in and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for assisted living.
Minimum requirements for this position are: Baccalaureate degree in nursing with 2 years full time clinical nursing experience, at least 1 year of which was in home care.
Interpersonal skills must be excellent and the ability to work and communicate with residents, families, staff and others in a tactful, diplomatic and professional manner is a must. Must be able to work independently, have schedule flexibility, supervise and direct staff and have basic computer knowledge.
