Description: Beacon Brook Health Center is employing Nursing Home Administrator - Temporary Full Time right now, this vacancy will be placed in Connecticut. Full-Time - Temporary The primary purpose of your position is to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care and services are provided to our residents at all times. The Administrator is responsible and accountable for the overall quality of care, quality of life of the residents residing in your facility, and the overall facility operations, including upholding corporate compliance, regulatory compliance and standards, and report directly to the Governing Body & Director of Operations. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the program goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation. Must be thoroughly familiar with laws, regulations, and guidelines governing personnel administration. Must be thoroughly familiar with the Privacy Rule governing Protected Health Information. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm at all times when dealing with residents, employees, visitors, community, family, vendors, hospitals, physicians, consultants, and regulatory officers. Must be able to read and interpret financial records, reports, etc. Must be able to maintain exceptional skill in relating to personnel. Must be able to communicate, educate and train, policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies/personnel. A Bachelors Degree is necessary. A degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health related degree is preferred but not required.Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrators license or meets the licensure requirements of this State. Must possess a working knowledge of long-term care operational standards set forth in Federal and State regulations. Prior long-term care administration training and experience preferred as a licensed nursing home administrator.
