Job Description:
Homecare Administrator (Bridgeport or Stamford, or West Haven, CT) Compensation: 6 Figure Salary + Bonus Administrator needed immediately for our client, a Medicare certified homecare agency with three (3) branch locations in southern CT. The agency provides both medical and behavioral health homecare services and is in a high growth mode. It is part of a larger corporation which has branches in multiple states and exceptionally professional leadership. The Administrator will have oversight of branches located in Stamford, Bridgeport and West Haven with a combined patient census of 400+. S/he can "office" at any of these branches. The Administrator will be current in all State of Connecticut, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and regulations as they relate to the delivery of homecare services. The best "fit" for this opportunity will be someone who is comfortable working in a for-profit, high growth, fast paced environment supervising the delivery of homecare services with great attention to safe and high quality patient care.
The responsibilities of the Administrator broadly include:
Supervision and clinical management, program planning, budgeting and marketing to ensure compliance with State of Connecticut regulations, financial stability and sound business growth.
State mandated qualifications include ONE of the following:
An MSN with active license to practice nursing in CT and one year of supervisory or administrative experience in a program caring for the sick â€" OR- A BSN with active license to practice nursing in CT and two years of supervisory or administrative experience in a program caring for the sickâ€"ORâ€" A BS or BA in Administration with concentration in health services administration and two years of supervisory or administrative experience in a program caring for the sick (But MUST have recent Medicare-certified homecare work experience)
