Under the general supervision of the Director, Clinical Support Services, CRC collaborates with the Directors and Managers to provde continuity of ! patient care by insuring adequate resources are available on a shift to shift basis; off shift and weekends/holidays the CRC is the nursing management representative on site. The CRC collaborates with the health care team to plan and coordinate the timely admission, transfer and discharge patients. Provides clinical support as the nurse responder with patients condition has changed as part of the Rapid Response Team. Has working knowledge of policies, procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
Education: BSN required.
Licensure: ACLS, FCCS (within one year of hiring)
Experience: Progressive nursing experience in a variety of settings including criticial care and supervision. Posesses knowledge of leadership and management skills with excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills. Ability to oversee clinical activities, act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model. Working knowle! dge/competence with national standards, i.e. DPH, TJC, CMS.
