Looking for CNA/Home Health Aides in the greater Hartford and surrounding suburbs area in CT area to provide personal care and housekeeping assistance to clients i! n their homes; follows the established plan of care under the direction of a nurse, supervisor, or client care coordinator. Rates start at $11.25/hour, more with experience. Can earn medical/dental benefits and paid time off by working consistently! Travel time paid, mileage paid, inservice time paid.
Duties Include:
Providing personal hygiene and grooming care to clients
Providing assistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.
Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs
Reporting changes in clients' condition to nurse, supervisor, or client care coordinator
Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties
Recording each client's care on care plan and submitting care plan in a timely manner
Assisting with providing emotional support for the clients and their families
Assisting with routine therapy exercises
Participating in case conferences as requested
Attends all required in-service education sessions
P! articipates in the performance improvemend process known as H3! W
Current Certified Nurse's Aide registration with the Connecticut Registry
Minimum 6 months work experience as a CNA or home care aide after CNA training, preferably in home care, or in a hospital or facility
Good housekeeping and home management skills
Must have own reliable transportation
Must have valid CT driver's license
Must be able to work at least one full weekend per month
Must have good communication skills and a helpful attitude
