Job Summary:
Reporting to the Practice Manager , the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates patient care following all established! standards of practice within the State and Federal guidelines! . He/She will be responsible for providing an exceptional patient experience by performing clinical duties such as preparing patients for the health care visit, verifying patient information, providing minor treatment as directed by the physician and providing education as indicated after assessing the learning needs of the patient and/or family. The LPN will serve as a resource to both staff and management in problem identification and resolution. This position is based in Greenwich.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Valid license as Licensed Practical Nurse in CT
Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position.
Maintains a minimum of 6 contact hours, annually
Superior customer service skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English proficiency is required
Flexibility with unexpected changes in work load
